Postcards of original neologisms
4” x 6”
2017- 2019
One of the Bureau’s multifold missions is to highlight that our dominant language has many words to talk about the apocalypse (Armageddon, end of days, apocalypse, doomsday, the reckoning, etc.). But a dearth of words to talk about a positive progressive future that is attainable and sustainable. As the quote goes: “its easier to imagine the apocalypse than the end of capitalism” (or any other dominate human system). For Future Emergent we are offering a handful of our neologisms that we hope can help us collectively up the path to envisioning a better future where we are participatory with the earth and not extractive.
